About Landvetter Halkbana
Since 2024 we run a traffic training facility in Härryda, just outside Gothenburg, with risk education for cars and motorcycles. Newly paved track, modern vehicles and instructors who want you to feel safe behind the wheel.
The facility
Landvetter Halkbana is at Grepetjärn 101 in Härryda. The track is newly paved and the cars are modern automatics fitted with skid systems, so skidding and emergency braking can be trained realistically and safely. For motorcycle courses (held in Swedish) we have our own light, restricted and heavy motorcycles, and riding gear to borrow free of charge on site.
We run Risk 1 and Risk 2 for the Swedish car licence (category B) and for motorcycle categories A1, A2 and A, separately or as a combo course on the same day. The car courses are also taught fully in English.
Our goal
Our ambition is simple: to become Gothenburg's best skid pan. We keep investing in the facility and in our people so that you leave as a safer driver, whether you are a beginner or polishing your skills.
Meet two of our instructors
Our people are our strength. There are many instructors on the track, and all of them walk you through every exercise, encourage independent driving and take their time when you are nervous. Here are two of them, Eric and Katarina, who also write our articles.
