Short answer
Landvetter Halkbana opened on 24 April 2024 in Härryda municipality. In September the same year our instructor Katarina Birknäs shared her best tips for slippery roads in the local paper Härryda-Posten.
The opening in April 2024
The track opened on 24 April 2024. Guests got to try the cars under safe guidance, and the people taking part included representatives of Körskolan.com.
One of the guests was Helena Nordström, branch manager at Sparbanken Sjuhärad. In a LinkedIn post the same day she wrote that training both new and experienced drivers is an important part of promoting road safety. Read the post on LinkedIn (in Swedish).
Härryda-Posten: tips before the slippery season
On 14 September 2024 Härryda-Posten published an article by Sofia Bednarek on how to avoid accidents when it gets cold and slippery. In it Katarina Birknäs shares her best tips for winter, and the paper's reporter gives it a try.
